Casey attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln graduating with Highest Distinction in 2019 majoring in Economics and Marketing. Casey started his career in the investments department at Assurity Life where he currently works as an Associate Portfolio Manager. He is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst), passing his final exam in 2023.

Behind the curtain, Casey does it all for us. Whether he’s managing our finances, working on billing tasks, or managing customer support tasks, Casey works hard to ensure we are a smoothly run ship.

When Casey is not at work, he loves to give back to the Lincoln community. Casey currently serves as the treasurer on the board of Friends of Pioneers Park Nature Center, he volunteers to pick up trash along Billy Wolfe Trail behind the Assurity Life building, he is a mentor for the TeamMates Mentoring Program, he is a volunteer for Junior Achievement in which he teaches young kids about financial literacy, work readiness, and entrepreneurship, and he volunteers to deliver meals to the community for Meals on Wheels. Outside of volunteering, Casey loves spending time with his family, he is a die hard Husker fan, loves travelling all over the globe and is continuously planning his next trip, and rarely misses a Saturday for old man coffee with his friends.
